Sure Signs of a Bad Day
You know you're having a bad day when...
1. Your boss yells at you to call 911, without you knowing where he is, what is going on, or why you are dialing in an emergency.
2. You screw up a buildings electrical service badly enough to potentially start a major electrical fire.
3. You find out that while you were trying to burn down the building you fried many expensive electronic machines, including tv's, stoves, computers, and the like. Exact damage unknown but likely in the thousands.
4. You are so shaken/upset/angry at yourself that the thought of retying a ladder to the top of a van starts you crying.
5. And (for some people) having your boss say nothing at all, good or bad, so you have no idea what is going through his mind.
Ways that same day could have been worse...
1. It could have been raining.
2. You could have been shocked seriously, or hurt someone inside.
3. You could have started an actual electrical fire.
4. You could have been fired on the spot.
5. You would have had to replace everything out of pocket instead of being covered by your employers insurance.
May none of you ever have a day like that. Oy vei!

Oh, I'm so sorry! WOW. Sounds like you need a vacation...or at least a good Sabbath! May you find true rest and recuperation this weekend...
Just think- you'll never have to live this day over again!!
That's terrible! :(
All I can say is: May tomorrow be today's opposite.
Good grief... what a platitude.
That's a very bad day indeed! I hope there's a bit of good in it too...
Now that is a bad day. Ouch.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, Wes. Way to look on the bright side.
I'm so sorry. That is pretty much the most horrifying story I have ever heard. Gretchen and I were reading blogs last night and you should have heard our groans of dismay on your behalf!
If it's any comfort, when we shared what we were moaning about, there were some in my family who told of having had similar experiences. More horrifying stories emerged. So you are not alone!
Claire you think just like me. :) So I went up to Maine to my aunt and uncles camp. Now I'm doing my best to relax.
Laughter, funny thing is the day before pretty much was the opposite.
Drewey, glad to know I'm not alone. Misery really does love company :)
Poor Woosley!
But true, it could have been worse. Your name could be Manley Dolley, after all. :-)
Hoping for a speeding recovery of spirits, work morale, self-respect, and all that stuff!
Oh my.
Sorry 'bout that!
