Thanksgiving

No, this isn't a report about my trip home for the holiday, rather it is my opportunity to publicly thank God for His blessings to me. I was realizing yesterday that I hadn't had any chance to publicly thank God, (thinking specifically meeting wise) because of traveling, but right on the heels of that thought was, 'Blogger is very public. Not to mention that you need to put up a new post.' So here I am killing two birds with one stone and being thankful to be able to do it that way.

I'm Thankful for... "

A family that I love and get along and enjoy spending time with.

Safety and protection for me in my car accident last January.
The fact that no one else was involved.

I had a new car within three weeks.

Two good friends of mine that are now happily married.
The great excuse their wedding made to take a vacation in Florida.

The opportunity to go sailing on several occasions during the summer.

Motorcycles classes that enabled me to obtain my motorcycle license.
A brother who let me borrow his motorcycle and ride it all over.

Work all spring and summer long, even when my employer had to subcontract me out.
A boss who is also a dedicated Christian, cousin, and friend.

The relationship that I have with my pastor.
The way God has blessed changing churches.

The wonderful place where I'm living. It is situated nicely, the price is right, and the landlord is very agreeable.

Friendships both new and old, as well as evolving ones.
IM'ing with friends.

My blog on which I can stay in touch, write down things so I don't forget them, and just have fun.

My music and Internet Radio.

Being introduced to Glenn Beck and doubling over in laughter during 'Mor-on Trivia'.

My camera, which even though I might not use much, still brings me joy through reliving memories.

Going to Six Flags Amusement Park with friends.

An Aunt and Uncle with an open invitation to their camp on a lake.
Doing a 18o and a couple of wicked jumps on a kneeboard with my dad watching.

Good health including not being grossly overweight.

Parents who raised me with common sense, and the ability to make good choices.

And to wrap things up: friends who can make me laugh and feel all warm and fuzzy at the same time. "

There are many other things that I could put down but I need to go to bed and that is a good general overall list so until later, Good night and God Bless.

This post definitely deserves SOMETHING in the comment section, so here I am to save the day.

Great list! I laughed and felt fuzzy all at once. :)
I know what you mean about being thankful for another car right away after an accident... sure pays to have connections, huh?
