Change Is In the (h)Air

This is a post that I have been thinking about for several months and have only just gotten up the nerve to put up. My life has gotten very predictable and ruttish, so much so that I feel a great need to do something about it. So short of quitting my job, buying a motorcycle and touring the nation, this was the next best thing I thought of. For 22&1/2 years I have been a blond. (Not valley girl blond, just hair color). Only once have I changed my hair and that was to deep, dark, solid black. It was a pretty big change; but one that I enjoyed. So I have decided to once again dye my hair. Unfortunately I'm not entirely sure yet what color so I'm asking for your help. For the next two weeks the poll on the right will be open for anyone to vote. The results are anonymous so don't worry about consequences :) Vote what you'de really like to see. Once the deed is done I'll post a couple of pictures showing the new color and what it looks like. Happy sabbath to you all.

Here are some pics to give you an idea of what I look like, both as a blond and darkie.

(With thanks to Kristi) I'm the blond in the blue shirt

I vote for a rich, chocolate-y brown. something not quite as harsh as the black, but still darker. It HAS to be rich...

I vote for leaving the hair blonde, as is. But then, I'm known for being conservative to a fault, and not very good with colors. I would say, however, that it's ironic that there are so many people in the world who would give anything to have the color you have!

What's wrong with being in a rut? I, personally, am not rut-phobic. I embrace the rut! But I must confess, even I think of doing rash things with my hair now and then:) And you can probably get away with it better than I can. So, all this is to helpfully say... um... not much:)

crazy colors to match your fire pants. j/k, just go for a normal looking brown, nothing crazy.

Um, I think it looks fine the way it is. I mean, think of all the guys highlighting their hair, wishing it was naturally blond! BUT if you absolutely have to dye it, then I'd go for a natural Evan shade of red.
But not dark. Your skin color doesn't match.

I'd say blonde, maybe red, maybe green, just no warrior knot! Hey, while you're at it, the Christmas season is coming, how about dying your hair red, green, and silver? :)

Cara you read my mind! I was thinking that if blond won out, I would just have to settle for growing a 'warrior knot'. Oh well, another great idea shot down.
As for the christmas colors, I don't think so :)

Everybody else, keep the votes coming, this is really informative.

If you are bored, why not grow sideburns...or sidelocks...or sidearms?

Or wear crazy socks?

Or go rappelling?

Or learn to speak Chinese?

Not that I'm not tempted by the idea of becoming a redhead myself, but why mess with the work of a really great Designer?

It depends... if you want something funky... green or blue... either would look awesome!

If you want something practical that you won't get sick of in a few weeks, go with a light coppery red. That's what I voted for actually... because your hair and skin tone is pale enough that anything darker looks kind of nasty, but red would look great.

I can find some pictures of the colour I'm talking about if you want...
